Who am I? This is a question I have been asked, been asking and hearing for the last couple days, as if there needs to be a perfect definition.

Why is it that we think that we have to be someone specific with an outline of perfect characteristics? How can we truly believe in growth if we do not change. How can we not change if we do not take risks and go out of our comfort zone. We are beautiful abstract human beings that should feel everything thing from flashes of rage to the coolness of contentment and even the darkness of grief.

We will make mistakes and we will learn from them and grow into something even more beautiful than we are the day before.

Do not get me wrong. I am not saying that we should not have core values that helps you maintain a level of decency. Have values but that is not the only thing that makes us who we are. There are several elements that makes us who we are and we should not limit ourselves to everyone else’s expectations and we should feel free to grow into something else tomorrow and not feel guilty because we have chosen not to be the same person we were the day before. Your beliefs changes and so did your values.

Conclusion

So when you ask yourself who am i? Ask because today you want to know what you are passionate about and maybe because you want to be a person of integrity. But to get up and make a checklist of who you are, what you need to enjoy to be a specific kind of person is no way to live.

Accept that you will not know the answer to everything, even if they are about you. XOXO
